Junior Commercial Lawyer

Full Time

We require a Junior Commercial Lawyer to join the Legal, Risk and Data Privacy team to assist with the legal workload of the growing business. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior lawyer to grow and develop in a fantastic start up type organisation with interesting work.

Job Overview

Preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts
Drafting Terms and Conditions
Drafting of Non-disclosure agreements
Advising on day to day legal queries from across the business
Advising on data privacy, compliance and regulatory issues
Advising on legal and commercial risk and proposing creative solutions to problems
Working closely with internal stakeholders
Assist in developing and maintaining precedent documents, processes and legal training
Managing the execution and maintenance of documents.
Advising in relation to a growing portfolio of products, in relation to legal issues affecting product development and compliance
What skills you’ll need…

To be considered for the role you will be an experienced paralegal or junior solicitor (NQ-2 pqe) and will have received first class training from a commercial law firm or in-house team.
You will be highly motivated and pro-active, with the ability to find sound commercial solutions to challenging legal and commercial issues.
You will need strong drafting skills and ideally 1+ years’ experience of drafting commercial contracts.
You will need the ability and desire to grow and develop within the organisation.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team player with excellent social skills.
Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
A creative mind with an ability to challenge and suggest improvements.
An understanding and experience of the health sector is desirable, as is experience working in-house for a tech company or start-up.
